We enjoyed our family stay, especially the lovely riverside terrace. It was a delight to sip on drinks while watching boats glide by. The staff made us feel right at home, and my granddaughter loved the picturesque Higginson Park nearby!

The room was quite spacious with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a TV. Loved having tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer available. The spa facilities were a nice bonus too. The dining experience was enhanced by lovely riverside views, making meals all the more enjoyable.

Had a jolly time at the Compleat Angler! The homemade jams at breakfast were proper lush, complemented by views overlooking the Thames that'll make your heart sing. Plus, the riverside restaurant was a gem that I can't wait to revisit, especially for the famed Sindhu!

The initial card authorisation put a right scare on me when I spotted two hefty charges on my statement after my stay. A little more communication from the hotel would’ve gone a long way.

The Compleat Angler is a picturesque hotel with stunning river views. My Superior Deluxe Double room was spacious and exceptionally clean, enhancing my overall comfort. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly baked pastries and a selection of organic juices. The staff were attentive and professional, reflecting a high standard of hospitality.

location was fantastic, so close to the river and marlow, really great views from the terrace. room was a pretty decent size and was clean. comfy chairs and soft cushions made it nice. staff were helpful and friendly, especially at the bar.

but breakfast was a letdown, the scrambled eggs were overcooked and the service was super slow. plus, the bathroom felt kinda outdated and needs a refresh.

The riverside views were absolutely mesmerizing, especially during sunset! I indulged in a delicious afternoon tea that was not only beautifully presented but tasted heavenly, with homemade scones that melted in my mouth. Wandering through the lush garden area just outside my room made me feel like I was in a dreamy escape.
