Fabulous hotel with luxurious rooms and excellent view to the town. Stunning setting in the lovely area, so close to eateries, shopping and a pleasant walk in the park and restaurant for breakfast. Nearby The Two Brewers - great place to chill out. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a safe, multi-channel television and coffee/tea makers in the room.

review: The hotel boasts a charming terrace overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing while watching boats pass by. Staff were mostly friendly, though some room details felt slightly dated, such as the somewhat small bathroom. Mixing drinks at the bar came with a hefty price tag, so budget accordingly. , rating: 6, date of stay: 2023-11-15}

Excellent, attentive staff, good location and the view from our room were the main plus points of our stay at this historic hotel.

I was travelling on my own, a senior lady. I was well looked after, all the staff were friendly and attentive. My room was very comfortable, and I could look out on to the river. Both the restaurants were of a high standard, with well-sourced food and a comprehensive wine list. Breakfast offered many healthy delights as well as the Standard English. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

The location was lovely, a wonderful ambience and the staff were very helpful indeed.
We found the bedrooms to be a little on the small side. Also, the breakfast is extremely over priced at £19.50 each. We had dined at the michelin starred Hand and Flowers restaurant the previous day and the price of lunch was cheaper than the breakfast at the hotel and of much higher standard. We had the smoked kippers for breakfast which were not of very good quality and we had to pay a premium for this food item. It was a disappointing end to what had been a lovely stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but not the breakfast.

The location was brilliant, for example, Marlow Lock was within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff was welcoming and exceptional throughout our stay. We didn't have time and didn't try the English breakfast.

During my recent eight-day business trip, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the staff, which made me feel right at home. The hotel’s stunning river views were a good touch, and my spacious room boasted a lovely balcony. The breakfast was consistently fantastic, and I appreciated the helpful guidance from Chris at Concierge, who made navigating the area a breeze.

Because the Hotel is in a good location and has good parking facilities meant we were able to walk into the centre which only took a few minutes. Breakfast was excellent - great selection of hot & cold. Service very good and friendly staff. We did have a complaint with our room and this was dealt with efficiently. Other family members were delighted with their rooms and could not fault them and had an enjoyable weekend.
We found our room to be not very good value for money especially at night, we had to put up with the staff noise, staff entrance doors banging at all times in the night, bed was near the door so you felt like you were in the hall way. We had two thin sheets with a blanket between them and so we were quite cold at night especially for October and we had had a frost overnight plus there were no spare blankets in the room unlike other members of the family they had duvets!. We also had views of the hotels large wheelie bins!! Also we found bar prices too high.

This place is great, and has free wi-fi, a lovely bar lounge area, and 24-hour reception. On my first visit, staff helped with directions to attractions, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return next year!

Location to London Heathrow and being in the country, easy access to all motorways for onward travel.
We dined in the Augergine dining room, the Matre De was not up t o standard expected, in fact every course he served he then pointed to each item on the plate nearly touching the food, we were not impressed, we could see what we had and knew what we had ordered and all he needed to do was present it to us and answer any questions. Extrremely expensive for the amount we had but the food was delicious. On the other hand the Breakfast in the hotel restuarant was brilliant and a fanulous view over the Thames.
